A shaman is a person who treats spiritual illness. A shaman is a healer who journeys into altered states of consciousness to access hidden realities in the spirit world for purposes of evoking healing, power, and transformation.
The word shaman comes from Siberia and means "one who sees in the dark", and widely refers to those who are medicine women/men, healers, and seers.
Shamans believe that all problems, physical, emotional or mental, have their root cause in spiritual imbalance. A shaman works to restore balance and wholeness by addressing the root cause of the problem. Many methods are used in shamanic healing, including soul retrieval, retrieval of a spiritual ally, removal of unwanted energies, soul recognition, ancestral work, psycho pomp (helping the deceased to cross over into the Light) and hands on healing. Shamans never work alone, but in conjunction with spiritual partners who guide them in providing what is needed for people.
Shamans build a clear and open bridge for God’s healing, wisdom, and love in order to help heal the person in need. In indigenous cultures understood and honored the reality of spiritual healing by holding a person's soul recovery through their union.
At our retreats, when the Shaman identifies a person who needs an special treatment, they will be provided with Shamanic healing. Traditionally, after the coca leaf reading and first ceremony, the Shamans will know what specific healing you may need. If you desire, you can also reserve an individual shamanic healing during the retreat ( at additional cost) to work on specific issues your soul desires to heal.
This is a beautiful form of healing and empowerment preserved for us by indigenous people all over the world and now available to YOU!!!
